Young Jedi Sent to Training Camp
Los Alamitos, Calif.; Jun. 2012 – Merchant Services partners with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire to make a young man’s wish for a lap top computer come true.
Fighting end stage renal disease is challenging for Roque and his constant treatments limit his time with friends. Roque wished for a lap top computer in order to stay in touch with his friends even when he can’t see them in person. His wish was granted with a new lap top decorated with the colors of Roque’s favorite soccer team Chivas. Feeling happy and hopeful, Roque is able to stay connected to the people that love and support him.
“Giving to organizations like Make-A-Wish is at the core of our business philosophy” said Bob Parisi, Senior Vice President of Merchant Services. “We love helping to provide experiences that bring a bit of hope and joy to these kids and their families.”
