Giving Back Packs
Santa Ana, Calif.; Aug. 2012 – Merchant Services, an Alliance Partner of SBGA, partners with the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana to provide backpacks stocked with school supplies to local children.
Merchant Services’ volunteers contributed back to school supplies including backpacks loaded with binders, paper, pens, pencils, crayons and pencils bags for children in grades K-12 participating in after school programs through the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana. The stocked backpacks were delivered to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana for distribution to local school children. A total of 250 fully loaded backpacks were donated to the Boys & Girls Club, marking the largest back-to-school donation in the company’s history.
“It has been truly inspiring to see the level of enthusiasm and involvement our volunteers have shown while taking part in community service opportunities,” shared Vice President of Merchant Services Nathan Jurczyk. “This team is truly committed to helping kids in economically challenged areas succeed in their education.”
