Employee Appreciation Day
September 11, 2015 – Small Business Growth Alliance (SBGA) Takes a Day Out of Busy Employee Schedules to Celebrate Their Work at Annual Company Picnic
As summer came to an end, the Small Business Growth Alliance (SBGA) made sure to give their employees a day of sunshine and teambuilding at the company’s annual picnic event. The business solutions provider, which has been busier than normal lately with the nationwide transition to EMV smart chip card acceptance, wanted to make sure they took the time to thank their hardworking employees with a day of barbecue, games, and general relaxation.
“Our employees are the life-blood of this company. They’re the ones who make everything we do possible, and we want to make sure they’re given the appreciation they deserve,” said Nathan Jurczyk, Vice President of SBGA. “Our annual company picnic is just a small way that we like to say ‘thank you’ for all that they do.”
This year’s picnic featured hamburgers and hot dogs grilled up personally by the company’s senior leaders, five rounds of Bingo with prizes, and the annual relay competition. This year’s relay included competitions that tested team work, strategy, hand-eye coordination, and a surprising round of fashion design. As the day came to a close, employees of SBGA headed home with a full stomach and sense of company community, ready and recharged to start up again full-force the following Monday.
“The company picnic is always a lot of fun for everyone,” commented Bob Parisi, Senior Vice President of SBGA. “There’s a lot of work that goes into it, but our team members prove every day that they deserve this day of appreciation, and that makes it all worthwhile.”
